At this point, you’ve probably given up on your food-related resolutions for the new year. Or they’re going terribly. Good for you! McDonalds is better than ever, and you can get KFC and Taco Bell in one stop! So keep living the American Dream and avoid the kale section at your local grocery store like the PLAGUE; I hear that stuff gives you gas, anyway.

i know. three and a half months have gone by. i’m still here, but barely. my contract with google is ending in a month, and (god willing) i’ll have my life back in january. i’ve found pockets of creative solace in the late hours of the night; there are a lot of good projects to be scanned and photographed, and they’ll be up soon. in the meantime, these guys were hammered out as a belated birthday gift for a very foxy lady. they need some drill press lovin’ and some hooks, and they’re good to go!

My best friend is moving to New York next week. She and I pretty much became inseparable after the first month of freshman year in college; we saw each other through our highs and lows, and everything in between. I still remember the first time she shoved me into a photobooth. Her obsession with the thing was addicting and beautiful. We would spend late nights on campus creating elaborate backdrops and carting around silly props to make the perfect strip. We’ve crawled into several photobooths over the past seven years, but today’s shoot was a special one. It marks the end of a West coast adventure we both fought so dearly to have(San Francisco can be pretty unforgiving), and the beginning of something even more incredible. May New York welcome you with open arms, Magera. I couldn’t have done this without you.
